Alrighty guys, as promised, here is my spoiler review of Infinity War. If for some reason, you missed the heading, this is your only spoiler warning. So, if you don’t want anything spoiled, this your time to leave…………………….. ok, I assume you are gone. Alright, as I mentioned in my Non-Spoiler review, this is my favorite MCU film, I absolutely love it. So, what this is my thoughts on detailed parts of the movie, more particularly the ending. I’m not going to go scene by scene, just more of a broad overview.

The first 10 minutes of the movie sets the tone for the rest of it. In the opening, Thanos had attacked the Asgardian ship and killed almost everyone on board to get an infinity stone. To save Thor’s life, Loki gives thanos the stone, but when he did this thanos took Loki by the neck and crushed it. Yep, within the first 10 minutes, we have a major character death.

From there, we meet up with Tony Stark and his fiancee. Dr. Strange appears and asks Stark for help with defeating Thanos. In Dr Strange’s lair, we meet up with Bruce Banner, aka hulk. They explain to Tony about Thanos and then they are attacked. Iron Man, Dr Strange and Spiderman fight back against Thanos’s army, but are taken up accidentally to his ship.

Meanwhile, the guardians of the galaxy are on their ship, heading towards the Asgardian ship, only to find it destroyed. They eventually find Thor, and bring him aboard the ship. Thor wakes up, and explains what happened, and then Gamora, who is the step daughter of Thanos, explains that he is looking for all 6 infinity stones. With all of them, he can wipe out half of the universe with just a snap of his finger. So, they decide to split up, Thor, Rocket, and Groot go find a way to make Thor a new weapon, and Star lord, Gamora, Mantis and Drax go to the planet Nowhere to find Thanos. After a confrontation, Thanos takes Gamora to get information about an infinity stone.

Thor and the others find a weapons maker, a giant Dwarf, and they make an Axe. Meanwhile, Captain America, Black Widow, Vision, and the others seek refuge in Wakanda and get ready for battle. Iron Man, Dr. Strange, and Spiderman, land on a remote planet and run into Star lord, Drax and Mantis. Meanwhile, after discovering the location of the soul stone, Thanos takes Gamora to planet where we see Red Skull. He tells Thanos that he must sacrifice something he loves to get the stone. So, reluctantly, he sacrifices Gamora.

Back at Wakanda, Thanos’s army arrives, and Captain America, Black Widow, Bruce Banner, Black Panther, War machine, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, and the Wakanda Army fight them off. On another planet, Thanos arrives and fights Iron Man, Spiderman, Dr. Strange, Star lord, Drax, and Mantis. They almost defeat him, but Star lord, after learning about Gamora, punches Thanos making the others lose control. Dr Strange gives Thanos his infinity stone to save Tony’s life. Back on earth, Thor, Rocket, and Groot arrive and kick butt. Vision goes out to fight as well but Thanos arrives to get the final stone. With him getting closer, Scarlet Witch successfully destroys the last stone, killing vision in the process. However, Thanos resets time and gets the stone, giving him all 6 stones. Then, Thor comes out of the sky and drives his axe through Thanos’s chest. He then tells Thor that he should have aimed for the head and snaps his finger.

This is the jaw dropping part I was talking about , meaning it was unexpected. Thanos manages to wipe out half of the universe including, Bucky, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, Falcon, Groot, Mantis, Star lord, Drax, Dr. Strange, and Spiderman. Now, I’m pretty sure most of them will come back but it was still a shock. In the After Credits scene, we see Nick Fury and Maria Hill. Suddenly they see people disappearing, and then Maria goes. Nick then quickly pulls out his phone and manages to dial someone before he disappears. That someone, is Captain Marvel.

Alright, so that is my spoiler review. I know it’s long, but there was a lot of stuff in the movie. My rating for the film is still a 10/10.
