On Sunday, a Mass shooting occurred at the Jacksonville Landing in Jacksonville, Florida. Police have responded and have told people to stay clear of the area and that it is not safe. It has been reported that 4 have been killed and 7 others injured, 11 victims total.

Fox news has reported that the shooting occurred shortly after 1:30 pm during a Madden NFL Championship series, which is a social media event where gamers have a tournament playing the madden NFL video game. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s office has confirmed that one suspect is dead and are currently searching for a possible second suspect. ATF has responded to the scene.
The shooter has been identified as a white male in his 20s and used a semiautomatic handgun. He was reportedly a gamer at the event and began to open fire after losing. The shooter then turned the gun on himself shortly after. The Florida state government as well as the white house are monitoring the situation. The authorities have ruled that the situation is not terrorism related.
