Is This About Our Health Or Their Power?

So, unless you have been living under a rock, you probably know by now that there is a Global Pandemic going on. The Coronavirus or Covid-19, originally started in China, but then soon started spreading globally. Of course, the reason for this is because China kept it hidden for Two months. In response to this, the politicians in power decided to shut down the entire country for, supposedly, 2 weeks. Unsurprisingly, 2 weeks grew into 5 weeks and still counting. The “experts” said that we must shut down or millions upon millions will die from the virus. As we all predicted, that number was greatly exaggerated. Now in response to this, you would think these politicians would loosen up their restrictions…… well you would be wrong. Instead, they have increased their restrictions in ways that don’t make any sense, and only takes the mask off of these politicians and show their true colors. Don’t believe me? Think I’m fear mongering? Well here are some examples of what I am talking about.

The first one I’ll start with is something that happened in San Diego yesterday. There were people who were simply in their cars, and watching the sunset on the beach. In response to this, the San Diego police issued citations to everyone there, for sitting in THEIR CAR, AWAY FROM OTHER PEOPLE. Here’s a piece from Wayne Dupree.

It’s quite another to turn America into a China-like police state.

As a person who lives in Michigan, I can tell you that buying vegetable seeds should have absolutely NOTHING to do with the containment of a virus.

Yet, here we are.

In addition, being locked up safe in your car while listening to a church service or watching the sunset should not be a reason for anyone to be hassled by law enforcement.

The tickets were issued Friday to people who “were watching the sunset, having picnics near the beach,” according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

“Everyone is required to stay home, except to get food, care for a relative or friend, get necessary health care or go to an essential job,” the department tweeted Saturday morning. “Complacency is the enemy. Take social distancing more seriously to stop coronavirus.”

They were in their cars, away from others, you can’t get any more “Socially distanced than that.

The violations carry fines of up to $1,000 or six months in jail or both, the department said.

“You can easily transmit coronavirus (without) knowing it, creating a snowball effect,” a tweet from the department said. “By staying home, you can save lives. The public health orders were not created to follow when convenient.”

How can they transmit or catch the virus when they are not around other people. The same thing happened in near Los Angeles, and believe it or not, this is not the only government over step that has happened.

In Mississippi, a church did a drive in church service since they couldn’t meet in person. Again, they are in their cars away from others, but that didn’t matter. According to Fox News, a City in Mississippi, had the police intervene a drive in church service for supposedly violating “social distancing” guidelines. Although the never said, a drive in service was banned, the City decided to ban it anyways. People were rightly ticked off and threatened a lawsuit. The Justice Department then decided to take the City’s side for some reason. In Pennsylvania, a woman was arrested for simply going for drive, because the police deemed it “non-essential”. The Michigan governor’s stay at home order bans people traveling to other houses, even other family’s homes and even vacation homes. It also bans the sell of “non-essential” items, like seeds to plant vegetables.

With these things happening all over the country, does anyone still think this is about our health? It may have started that way, but it has quickly moved from this. In states like California, you can no longer buy firearms because it’s non-essential, so there goes the 2nd amendment. Our 1st amendment is under threat, a lot of our basic liberties are under threat. Thankfully, this is not happening all over the country. In Georgia, we have a stay at home order, but we are still able to go outside, go to parks, drive around, but this is because our governor actually likes the constitution. In a few other states, this is not the case. If our rights can be eroded this quickly for something like this, our nation is more fragile than we thought. We the People, need to take a stand. I do not mean War of course. I mean by peaceful demonstrations, like in Michigan and in other states.

This is a unprecedented time for all of us, and we don’t know the future. However, with God’s help, we will get through this. “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me” – John 14:1. Trust in God, and we will get through this.
