Exactly 1 year ago today, the infamous debacle regarding Justice Brett Kavanaugh had started gaining steam in the news cycle. For those who don’t remember exactly what happened, here are the details. There was a woman named Christine Blasey Ford, who alleged that some 37 years ago, she was at a party, and Brett Kavanaugh was supposedly at this party. She claims that when the went upstairs, Kavanaugh along with a guy named Mark Judge, pushed her into a bedroom and then onto a bed. Kavanaugh then allegedly started grope her and attempted to take her clothes off. When she tried to scream Kavanaugh stifled her scream with hand. She then said that she was eventually able to escape. Now this is a really awful allegation, but the problem is that there is nothing, I repeat, nothing to back this claim up. She doesn’t remember where it happened, when it happened, who was all at the party, etc. Also, no one can corroborate the claim, all of the people interviewed have denied that it had happened. There was also 2 other allegations that were just as vague. One was from a woman named Julie Swetnick, who claimed that Kavanaugh was part of a gang rape train that frequently occurred at these parties, and that she was a victim of it. This accusation was absolutely bonkers from the beginning and nothing came from it. Another allegation arose from a woman named Debra Ramirez, who claimed that Kavanaugh once exposed himself to her at a dorm party. She refused to testify under oath and at first couldn’t remember if the accusation was even true. Also, she listed 25 witnesses to this party, not one backed her story, none. All of these allegations were asinine practically from the beginning, but this didn’t matter to Democrats. They decided to use these vague allegations to railroad his confirmation. They were doing everything they could to demolish a good man’s life. It was the worst political smear I had ever witnessed. Thankfully, he was confirmed and that whole news cycle ended….. or so we thought. Exactly 1 year later from that whole debacle, the New York Times decided to resurface it with a new allegation.
Before I get to the allegation, I just want to say this. The media is just awful, they are a pile of flaming hot garbage. Supposedly objective journalists have bathed themselves in absolute disgrace for the past few years, at least. Which leads to the New York Times. So, there was a book released called The Education Of Brett Kavanaugh by Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly (who are editors with the NYT), basically going over the allegations and events surrounding it. Then, the authors released a piece in The New York Times, detailing a new allegation, titled Brett Kavanaugh Fit In With The Privileged Kids. She Did Not. Here is what it says.
Deborah Ramirez had the grades to go to Yale in 1983. But she wasn’t prepared for what she’d find there.
I should note that a good portion of this piece is about how Debra Ramirez grew up less privileged than Kavanaugh. As if that means that Kavanaugh is guilty or something.
A top student in southwestern Connecticut, she studied hard but socialized little. She was raised Catholic and had a sheltered upbringing. In the summers, she worked at Carvel dishing ice cream, commuting in the $500 car she’d bought with babysitting earnings.
…
At Yale, she encountered students from more worldly backgrounds. Many were affluent and had attended elite private high schools. They also had experience with drinking and sexual behavior that Ms. Ramirez — who had not intended to be intimate with a man until her wedding night — lacked.
…
During the winter of her freshman year, a drunken dormitory party unsettled her deeply. She and some classmates had been drinking heavily when, she says, a freshman named Brett Kavanaugh pulled down his pants and thrust his penis at her, prompting her to swat it away and inadvertently touch it. Some of the onlookers, who had been passing around a fake penis earlier in the evening, laughed.
Again, there’s absolutely no evidence that this happened.
To Ms. Ramirez it wasn’t funny at all. It was the nadir of her first year, when she often felt insufficiently rich, experienced or savvy to mingle with her more privileged classmates.
…
“I had gone through high school, I’m the good girl, and now, in one evening, it was all ripped away,” she said in an interview earlier this year at her Boulder, Colo., home. By preying upon her in this way, she added, Mr. Kavanaugh and his friends “make it clear I’m not smart.”
…
Mr. Kavanaugh, now a justice on the Supreme Court, has adamantly denied her claims. Those claims became a flash point during his confirmation process last year, when he was also fighting other sexual misconduct allegations from Christine Blasey Ford, who had attended a Washington-area high school near his.
Again, there’s no evidence that this happened either.
But while we found Dr. Ford’s allegations credible during a 10-month investigation, Ms. Ramirez’s story could be more fully corroborated. During his Senate testimony, Mr. Kavanaugh said that if the incident Ms. Ramirez described had occurred, it would have been “the talk of campus.” Our reporting suggests that it was.
…
At least seven people, including Ms. Ramirez’s mother, heard about the Yale incident long before Mr. Kavanaugh was a federal judge. Two of those people were classmates who learned of it just days after the party occurred, suggesting that it was discussed among students at the time.
Maybe, although everyone that The New York Times talked to denied that the alleged incident occurred, including the 25 people listed by Ramirez as witnesses. Here is where we get to the new allegation.
We also uncovered a previously unreported story about Mr. Kavanaugh in his freshman year that echoes Ms. Ramirez’s allegation. A classmate, Max Stier, saw Mr. Kavanaugh with his pants down at a different drunken dorm party, where friends pushed his penis into the hand of a female student. Mr. Stier, who runs a nonprofit organization in Washington, notified senators and the F.B.I. about this account, but the F.B.I. did not investigate and Mr. Stier has declined to discuss it publicly. We corroborated the story with two officials who have communicated with Mr. Stier; the female student declined to be interviewed and friends say she does not recall the episode.
Note, when they say “corroborated the story” they mean that they have talked to people who said that Stier told them the story. That’s not corroboration of the actual story. So the allegation itself is a little weird and also vague. There has been no one who can corroborate the story. However, The New York Times left out one crucial part. The alleged victim does not even remember the alleged incident. This was written right in same book, and they left it out. Their excuse is that the editors didn’t want to bring up the alleged victim’s name, so they decided to cut out the entire part. How absurd, how freaking absurd! They eventually edited article and added this.
Editors’ Note:
An earlier version of this article, which was adapted from a forthcoming book, did not include one element of the book’s account regarding an assertion by a Yale classmate that friends of Brett Kavanaugh pushed his penis into the hand of a female student at a drunken dorm party. The book reports that the female student declined to be interviewed and friends say that she does not recall the incident. That information has been added to the article.
This is the prime example of why the media is garbage. While they did correct their statement, the damage was already done.
Several Democrats, including Democratic Presidential candidates, Kamala Harris, Julian Castro, Elizabeth Warren, have called for the impeachment. Based solely on unverified allegations with no evidence. The left completely completely blew up this story, in order to smear Kavanaugh’s name and get him out. It is one of the most disgusting tactics I see the left use. While this was happened, another story unfolding that should have been front page news. Christine Ford’s friend, Leland Keyser, who Ford said was at the party, came out and said that she doesn’t believe Ford’s story and said that Ford’s allies pressured her to change her story. How in the world is this not front page news? Seriously, the only reason why it isn’t is because it doesn’t fit their narrative. And they wonder why conservatives don’t like media?
As I have said probably 10 million times at this point, this is why you got Trump. The Democrats refuse to acknowledge that doing over and over will come back and bite them, and they will end up regretting it when Trump wins reelection.
