This past weekend, Twitter decided to do something supremely stupid. I mean this is so stupid that my brain hurts just thinking about it. So as we conservatives all know, for the past two years or so, social media companies, particularly Facebook and Twitter, have turned heavily biased against conservative groups. On Facebook, we have a certain algorithm set up to where conservative traffic drops and liberal traffic rises. On Twitter, many conservative pages, including mine, have been shadow banned meaning your tweets won’t show up on timelines. What’s hilarious about this is that both the companies and the left have said that there is no bias. Actually, the left has continually said that Facebook has a biased against liberals in favor of conservatives which is just asinine. Instead of improving this bias, someone, namely Twitter, decides to change their terms of service and it’s not good for cconservatives.
What is this change you ask? Well basically, the change is that if you were to say a man is a man and a woman is a woman or there are only 2 genders, you will get permanently banned, I am not kidding. This was revealed by a piece from PinkNews by a guy named Josh Jackman titled Twitter bans misgendering and deadnaming in pro-trans move. Here’s what it says.
Twitter has prohibited misgendering and deadnaming on its platform in an effort to curtail anti-trans abuse.

The social media company has changed its rules to ban the practices and has warned that any user who deliberately targets a trans person in these ways may face permanent suspension.
And by “deliberately targeting trans people” he means saying a man is a man and a woman is a woman will get you permanently banned. Anyways, it continues.
These offensive techniques—which involve using the wrong gender to refer to a trans person or a trans person’s old name—are often used on Twitter to insult and erase trans people’s identities and right to exist.
Um no one is trying to erase their to exist, they have every right to exist and they shouldn’t be mistreated either. However, you can’t force me to call a biological man who thinks he’s a woman a she, it is completely anti-science. It continues.
In Twitter’s updated terms of service, the company states: “We prohibit targeting individuals with repeated slurs, tropes or other content that intends to dehumanise, degrade or reinforce negative or harmful stereotypes about a protected category.

Twitter has promised to permanently suspend any account which either breaks the rules too many times or is “engaging primarily in abusive behaviour.”

Many Twitter users have praised the change, which they hope will lead to more abusive accounts being suspended or banned completely.
And by “Twitter users” he means leftists who want all conservatives banned from Twitter and will find anything they say abusive. This new rule change is so freaking absurd, and it is ironic that the left supports this move while calling themselves the party of science. This is a dangerous road we’re going down and let me explain.
Since this new rule was placed, several conservatives have already been banned, one of them being Jesse Kelly. Now, I don’t know much about him and I’m not going to pretend otherwise. What I do know is that he was permanently banned. I don’t know whether or not it was because of the new rule, they didn’t give him a specific reason, but due to the timing, I wouldn’t be surprised. I wouldn’t be surprised to see people like Sean Davis or Ben Shapiro get banned any day from now. Heck I expect to get banned any minute now and that’s why I’ll keep tweeting out this.

This kind of stuff is settled us down a dangerous road. As I said before, the left wants nothing more than to ban conservatives from social media permanently and they are willing to do anything to accomplish this, including government regulation. Yes yes I know, Twitter is a private company who can ban anyone they choose to, but what I fear is that, in the future, this will lead to Democrats who are in power to start cracking down on speech they don’t like and then arresting and jailing folks who violate this rule. We are already seeing this Europe.
In the end, there’s only 2 options conservatives have regarding this. They can either go and start another social media site or stay and fight back. I choose the ladder because I actually like Twitter and would hate to leave so I choose to stay and express my dismay for their change. Another thing that could work is that if the majority of major conservatives on Twitter threaten to leave bringing along their base. Ultimately, the best way for conservatives to get through this is by pulling together not apart.
