Guys! It’s here, it’s finally here! If you can’t tell, I was absolutely pumped for this movie, we’ve been waiting for this for almost 6 years. Ok, so this is gonna be a Non-Spoiler review, and I’m gonna try to keep it as vague as possible because a lot crap goes down in this movie. Sometime next week, I’ll be posting a spoiler review, because I need talk about everything that I saw. So, Infinity War is the newest installment in the marvel cinematic universe series. It takes place roughly 2 years after the events of Civil War. This is going to be a simple review basically what I liked overall, what I disliked overall, etc. Again I’m going to try to be as vague as possible.
The hype leading up to the release of the film was huge and rightfully so. They have been slowly building up to this point sense the first avengers movie. I generally try to be skeptical about a movie that is very hyped, but for this one in particular, I had high expectations for it and it delivered. This movie was absolutely amazing, and in my opinion, I think it is the best marvel cinematic universe movie ever made. Everything worked for it, the characters, the plot, the action sequences, just everything.
First let’s talk about Thanos, because dude, this guy was awsome. One of the things marvel has been lacking lately are good strong villains. In this film, they do it right, they develop thanos really well. I like how it shows the reason why he’s after the infinity stones in the first place. Unlike a lot of later marvel villains we’ve seen, this guy was intimidating. I’m not going to go into details why, but I just wanted to point that out. Then of course we have all of our heroes. With a lot of films, when ever they have this many characters, they are weakened as a movie, however infinity war handles it perfectly. They do a good job of balancing out all of the characters, and it does help that we already know about them. I think one of the only issues I had with it is that there were some characters that I would have preferred to spend more time with, but also it is a big cast so that would be hard.
As far as the actual story, I thought it was really well. The whole movie had a nice pace going for it. There were some parts where it dragged, but it wasn’t terrible. Here is one thing I will about the ending though, it is jaw dropping. Throughout the movie I was expecting something big to happen at the end, but never did I ever thought they would pull something like that.
Like I said before, the movie was just fantastic and I couldn’t have asked for anything better than what I saw. As far rating is concerned, I’m going to give it a perfect 10/10. So, probably on either Monday or Tuesday I will post a review with spoilers and trust me there’s quite a lot to talk about.
