On Wednesday, a tragic shooting occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. At around 2:30 pm eastern time, a shooter opened fire on students and teachers in the school killing multiple. According to NBC news here is what we know so far:
- At least 14 victims,” according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office
- A suspect is in custody
- The shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland started around 2:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
The shooter has been identified as Nicolas de Jesus Cruz, who is a former student to the high school. No further details were shared about the suspect.
My prayers go out to the victims and their families of this horrific shooting. This is an incredibly sad moment for multiple parents now. I ask for this one simple request to conservatives and liberals. Don’t politicize shooting, and if you are going to, please wait a few days at least.
