On Monday, Vanessa Trump, wife of Donald Trump Jr, along with 2 others were hospitalized after receiving an envelope with some suspicious white powder substance inside.
NBC New York reported: The letter mailed to the East 54th Street apartment was opened Monday morning and contained some sort of substance, though the specific nature of that substance wasn’t immediately clear. Three people were taken to a hospital as a precaution for observation after the FDNY responded shortly after 10 a.m.
According to an article by fox news, the substance was thankfully identified as non-hazardous and a thorough investigation into this continues.
Some on left of course are making jokes or were cheering for it to be something bad, which is not completely surprising.
I believe it was back in 2001, when terrorist were sending anthrax through the mail to several homes in Washington. Hopefully this isn’t the start of anything like that. I’m just glad that everyone is ok.
